captian hook - I won't be going to West beers this week but if you feel like coming along next week then we can ride down together. Or if you need any tools then I have a small but growing collection (cone spanners, crank puller, headset spanner, torque wrench, chain tool and a few more) which you are welcome to use.

Na, still haven't been. It's just an awkward time to go for me. I work in watford and don't normally get home till 7/8 ish. On the rare occassion I get the chance i'd still be up for coming along.

Work in Cowley, live NW10.
If i'm going in on the bike usually get the train from Ealing Broadway in the morning to West Drayton (no showers at work) then ride back through Southall and Ealing home (usually very quick as i'm keen to escape the UB8). It's not a bad ride but you need to keep your wits about you on broadway - some shocking driving going on.

The driving in Ealing is nowhere near as bad as the driving in Southall, in Southall they just don't really seem to care about anything and just do whatever they want with regards to driving.

i have seen a couple of others about, a bloke went past on a beige bike the other day, deep v's (cnt rmemeber colour tho) had possibly pink cranks n chainring? and i was riding brunell and saw a s/s or fixed, didnt wanna get too close in case serurity thort i was gonna nick it, chained up by the big square building with the increasing ledges all round. think it was black, stubby stem and have a v brake mounted on a plate on the rear. anyone??
