My aunt has an African Grey, it's lack of colourful feathers is more than made up for with it's very colourful vocabulary.

African greys mate for life and also have individual, unique calls between couples. How sweet.

I guess I should be spinning more? Thing is, with a larger rear cog I did not get a very high speed on flat and downhil was a nightmare.

learn to spin faster. its easy. i was on 48/22 for a week or so and it was bloody slow but lots of fun n the down hills, because skidding was so fuckin easy.

Nice! I saw a firecrest once in the countryside, but I've never spotted a goldcrest.

the way to cook wood pigeon to make it taste not at all like wood is to cut the breasts off and cook them as if you were doing very rare steak. Literally a minute on each side.
