Anyone else find their exposure lights get stuck in the mount? I've had it the last two commutes
http://www.wigglestatic.com/product-media/5360075727/exposure_Maxx-D.JPG?w=2000&h=2000&a=7
It rattles into a position that makes the red pin almost impossible to push down to remove the light without a bunch of knocking, jiggling etc.
Reckon I could use some dry lube on the mounting plate faces?
A tiny drop of oil on the pin sorts it out

I'm using one, and love it so far.
Bright, well made, good mounting, and USB rechargeable -

That is exactly what I want to hear.

Bright, well made, good mounting, and USB rechargeablePretty much this. I too needed to replace a fibre flare. The comet seems well made and is bright, probably too bright for people following at it's highest setting. I want a front one now. Also the silicone rubber quick mount is solid and the extra seat rail clamp mount works well ( put that on the other bike)

I got a set of those with my LCC membership.
They are crap even for a "free" light. The rear one switches itself off after a minute or so.
Sohi, would you mind dropping me a PM with your email address in? We've had over 500 set's of Milli's go out with LCC subs and not heard of one failure yet, aside from this one. (not including the countless other sets sold through shops etc.)
I'd like to get to the bottom of it if I may. I'd be happy to replace yours if you aren't happy with it and especially interested in seeing as to why the one you have isn't working correctly.
thanks,
Jake

Recommendations for a headlight to mount to my helmet please, I would prefer battery (as opposed to USB). I have a couple of cateye's on the bike and a cherrybomb 1.0W on my helmet already but would like increased non blinking front visibility.

Apart from the jacket I endorse that choice.

Good find. Their rear lights are the same as the Cateye TL-LD610 and RSP Astrum, but for only £2.50.

Does anyone have a link to a cheap chinese version (Dealtreme, 7Dayshop etc) of the standard Hope charger? The battery for my Disctrict 3 has stopped talking to the charger. It's something with the connector, but no matter how I bend, twist or squash the connectors, I can't get it to charge on its own. It could be the battery connector too, I have no way to check, but figured there'd be a million cheap 7.4v chargers available with the 2.5mm plug that would be worth a punt, but I can't find one.

I'm having similar issues. I think the QC on the chargers is pretty poor.
I have two packs and two chargers and both chargers are a bit iffy, sometimes needing the connector twisting around to make a connection or the charger itself needing a bit of a knock sometimes.

I got a couple of the Mist 5 Cateye rip off ones. For the money you just can't go wrong, but saying that after a week of commuting in the bad weather this week I've discovered that they're not great in the wet. Luckily, they keep working, but the button stops responding, so you can't turn them off or switch modes. Take the batteries out though and leave them to dry out and they fire up just fine and the button is functional again.

I have the genuine cateye, and it's similarly not resistant to water.

http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/LIPHBPDRL/phaart_bleep_dual_05_watt_led_rear_lightThese aren't unbranded lights as I first thought, they are cheap copies. The output is still good, but the casing is poor. Still worth it for a £2.50 spare.
