  • Has anyone used the Sigma Pava or Hiro? Would you recommend?

    p.s. I UTFS but didn't find much

  • Has anyone had any problems with the exposure rechargeable batteries for the flash/flare? I use the flare rear, and have only had it for a few weeks. From new the batteries were great and lasted about 3hours on normal mode, which is what they are rated at. after the first and now second charges, when the batteries are fresh, the light isn't anywhere near as bright as it should be. To me it looks like they aren't charging properly. Gonna give it another blast once I'm home tonight before it contact exposure, but would be good to hear your thoughts.

  • Its usually the construction of the bodies itself that's faulty, take them back to the shop where you brought them.

  • Contacted Exposure direct in the end and after I described the problem they said the charger was faulty. (Light is still fine with non recharge battery). They're sending me a new charger. Nice and simple. Great service Exposure, thanks!

  • I had a faulty exposure charger too, wiggle replaced it and sent haribo

  • No Hope Vision 1?

  • Looks like Hope did not submit one for testing. The standard rig does at least mean that they could still submit one and be included.

  • Just had a new IQ Cyo through the post from B&M. I sent them mine which was off a 2nd hand bike, it'd lost the central bolt and the top cap was held on with electrical tape, then the LED blew so I sent it to see if it could be fixed and they sent me a brand new light! Can't argue with that kind of service, it doesn't even say anything about lifetime warranty on the packaging.

  • Fenix have finally made some bike specific light BT10 and higher capacity BT20 with an interesting "double beam" refracted light throw.

  • The new Hope Vision 1 have the upgrade that we all wanted; a low battery warning indicator and the request to make it uglier of course.

Apparently it's also brighter with the same run time.

  • want to push the button on Electron Terra 1 front light, but a bit confused by the options available...
    Terra 1 £46
is the Terra 1 Evo worth the extra £25? I'll be using it on roads so I'm happy enough with the 120 lumens, rather than 160, I think. seems to come with a few more bits and pieces, velcro strap, USB cable... can it still be charged from the mains not just a computer? (I know you can get USB sockets to plug in, but it would be another thing to buy). what else is different/better?

loads of info - but no price?

  • The price seems to be an external battery pack.

still ugly and as massive as fnck!

  • I'd put the size and the looks as secondary to that fucking clamp, the use of which never fails to annoy.

  • ^ You're not alone in that

  • it's like having a can of beer stuck on your bars with velcro

  • replace clamp with exposure one, job done.

  • We've been over this a million times. The Hope clamp works perfectly if you remove the crappy rubber inserts and use a regular rubber shim that goes around all/most of the bar.

  • Until the securing bolt pulls through the plastic because it can't handle the repeated stress of the heavy light rattling around.

  • Well I never had that issue - ask Sam how he's getting on, as he bought mine.

  • never had a problem with the original hope clamp with the original rubber inserts, doesn't slip on the bars or anything. this is its 4th winter. HTFU!

  • Fenix BT10 is $72 with free shipping from USA or £65 from UK distro but won't be available from either till end of Nov.
