Just got back from seeing Fiddy.

Paul seems in good spirits and his only concern was that I saw him on the day of his operation meaning that he couldn't get pissed with me (Not that I was planning on drinking).

His operation is at two and he'll be (hopefully) released on Wednesday. He's happy bout this as it means he can come straight to East Beers.

All love passed his way and anyone free should go visit him tomorrow as he'll be whacked today from the general anaesthetic.

I've just got home after seeing him today. The operation seems to have gone really well. Nothing to see at all and the face looks fine, if not slightly bruised. He asked the nurse to take his drip out so we could pop out for a pint. The nurse was having none of it. Took him a curry tho, so a happy paul.

He's definately doing wednesday drinks and Thursday. Murtle, anyone else wanna organise the White Horse for this Thu, or shall I put up a thread for that?

Well what can I say I'm flabbergasted by my historical presence and thanks to you all for the well wishes. I had just started to litter my bedside table with front brake from fruittbat and two Miche bottom brackets from Condor, so that I felt at home, and lo and behold they let me go with drugs, but no morphine, sorry about that. I'm moving up to Crystal Palace tomorrow so I'm near my current project, but will be up for drinks on Thursday at the White Horse Parsons Green. Jonathan (Omega) mate who witnessed my mishap has booked two tables, and I have been earning while asleep . . !
