Did I miss you somehow? I waited from about 8:55 to 9:25. South end of Waterloo Bridge, around the Hayward Gallery.

I thought I'd better make myself conspicuous and walked along the kerb in a suggestive manner. It worked! Some drunk students came up and asked if I would mind having my picture taken pretending to check the hair of one of them for nits. You've got to love the glory of London nightlife.

Waterloo Bridge really isn't a good place for meeting. The only place there that is distinctive and unmistakable is the traffic island opposite the IMAX where the central reservation splays out.

I then went on a nice little ride out to Greenwich, through the foot tunnel, up to Canary Wharf and back up to Hackney.

Really sorry I couldn't make it down it time.. I managed to get a puncture whilst heading up the Old Kent Road (which I could have gone around were it not for fear of getting bludgeoned to death by a gang of youths - a la Burgess Park attack the other night).. After that I stopped in on a friend's house near there to sort it out and by the time I'd finished it (and thanked my friend, said hello, had a cup of tea etc) I think it must have been around 9:15-20.. I can't remember the exact time but knowing it was a long shot, I rode up to the strand and back again.. I guess I must have just missed you..

Glad to see that you managed a ride though.. I just rode home and got to sleep as soon as I could :(

God this does just get funnier !!
I got to Waterloo Bridge and was south side right by the Imax then went down by the Hayward . I wear glasses obviously they are not working for me !!
Waited till 9.20 by this time I was just far too cold but did make it !!Kinda.
I suggest we meet at a pub next time a liquid refreshment and off for a ride !
Somewhere all will know and be able to find !
