I'd love to go out for a bit. I have a meeting tonight until about 9 in Homerton, so I think the earliest time I could make would be about 10. Whereabouts do you want to meet?
-
• #133
Hoping to make a ride out tonight but will let you know .
Ten sounds like a decent time .
Where too ? -
• #134
Anywhere--I don't have any particular route in mind. We can decide on the spot.
Let's discuss meeting point a little later on here, perhaps when/if more people have piped up. (I don't have a mobile, BTW so will rely on this board.)

I'm also around in Homerton tonight (cause I live there). Would be up for a ride. Will check later for details.

OK--I'll be at:
The Barnabas Centre, 109 Homerton High Street, London
E97.30pm – 9pm

for the Cycling Club Hackney meeting. Come along if you like. We could then ride somewhere else to meet other people? -

Leaving work now to get on bike weather is looking a bit dodge lets hope its not gonna rain !! -
• #138

Sorry you can't come, Emilia. Another time!
@wibble--are you still up for it and if yes, which area are you in? Are you up for going to Homerton or should we meet you somewhere else?
@photoben and Stix--do you all want to meet in Homerton at the Barnabas Centre or somewhere else?
See above for my location if you still see this tonight. After the meeting I'll wait for a bit unless you've already turned up before the end.
I'm leaving the house in about 15 minutes, so after that I won't check the site.
Look forward to it.

Were you drinking in The Elderfield? Saw some bikes locked up. Was tempted by a pint, but got an early start tomorrow. Next time, always up for a night ride.

Whoopsie.. Sorry guys I wrote that suggestion whilst slightly inebriated.. In the sober light of day however, I forgot that I had arranged to meet up with some friends and due to uni then rugby training then meeting up I couldn't get online in time to notify :(
For the record though, I'm South-East so Homerton would have been a big trek for me.. If you're ever up for a ride though post it on here and I'll do my best to get somewhere central

Central is best, no doubt. Perhaps the middle of Waterloo Bridge isn't such a bad meeting point for this type of ride. Things like this tend to work better if everybody can make lazy and reliable assumptions about meeting time and place and then just turn up if one is on without tormenting their tired mind with much further thinking.
just reporting in that me and Crabtree went for a proper insomniac's ride last night. Started at 0015hrs, finished around 0300.
It was a peach and as quiet as can be. I'm cooking up a proper late night ride now.
