Vidal, do you know any sports shops/chain stores in NYC that we could get those balls? My missus is over there this weekend, so if we point her in the right direction, i'm sure she could pick up a few.

I would try any big sports store in the city. I'm not sure about stores on the east coast, one can probably google "sports store" with the zip code she's in and find them. Go for Franklin Super High Density (red) or High Density (orange) (i was wrong in another post, the colors do matter).

You can drill a little hole and drain the water and it will work.

I ordered a dozen balls (they are orange high density, but that may even be better here given the colder temp). It said I couldn't use US card, but the order seems to have gone through. So hopefully I'll get them soon. They're 5gbp each (60/12).

Bugger. My mate at work just brought us a bunch of the orange high density balls. Rik has them. They're too squishy.
Although... that was a sunny day and it's well cold out at the moment!

And yea, I've heard about draining the water ones. There's even a little 'plug' to guide the drill. Maybe it'll be ok.

The orange are definitely squishy and not as good as the red, but i think they play fine.

we had been playing with them at some point last weekend, now that is cold there are hard enough to play, but they are a bit lightish

what balls did we use for the tourney? They were SHIT

Ebay balls. They're good on a smooth surface like NE or Central St. But shite at brick lane and courts with craters and rubbish strewn about. (probably not so good with water either...)

I got the balls. They gave us the "extreme color series" but whatever. I'm hoping buffalo bill and gabes still want 3 each. that leaves 3 extras up for grabs. I'll bring them to the Broadway court tonight. They are 5gbp each.
