  • Enjoy and be refreshed, my friend.

  • PG tips by the pint milky and sweet
if there was one drink i would have to drink for the rest of my life ......

  • Also what's the deal with blending your own? How much of a science is it? Sounds fun.

Don't know really - I'd imagine that you'd have to know the qualities of many separate types of tea, their smokiness, spiciness, green notes, etc.

Start by drinking lots of loose leaf tea then give it a go! Make LFGSS a CYOA tea!

  • I'll hold my hand up and say I'm drinking a pint of PG Tips as we speak.

Can't get away with a teapot and loose leaf tea in a Leeds printworks.

I'd get savagely bummed with a monkey wrench before the day was out...

  • Which end goes in?

  • Nice! Thanks.

  • Also that Lahloo site earlier has a lot of good basic info about the main types of tea.

  • The monkey wrench goes in sideways.

  • Red Bush is the tits. Caffeine free, but still tastes good. I still can't get my head round it. Good with a tot of whisky in it too.

I bet it is pretty good with Whisky.

I no like on it's own.

  • 2011 bump.

Knocking back a cuppa black assam, s'goooood...

    (+chocolate digestive)

  • good call, I just picked up a chinese red cast iron teapot, trivet and cups,
its all about the tea ceremony.

  • That sounds awesome, I never use a teapot.

  • Recently got into Twinnings Rose Pouchong. NO HOMO.

  • I take mine black, always

  • Fuck yeah, saves me putting 2 teabags in every cup.

Treated myself to some dark chocolate digestives with my tea last night. Of course the diameter of my mug was smaller than that of the biscuit. I know what you're thinking, just break it in half right?

    Wrong.

Every fucking time it broke into three pieces, ended up with two pieces floating in it which I had to drink out. Need a bigger mug.

    tick

They only work with a quick dip - in and out. They are fragile things, choc digestives. Don't make 'em like they used to.

  • Indeed, and breaking them into smaller pieces simply creates stress fractures weakening the structure further. Big fuck off mug is on the to-buy list.

  • But they'll disintegrate even when hole! Don't do it! You'll be picking soggy biscuit out the bottom of your mug, mark my words. #notaeuph

  • I find this website very useful for keeping up to date with the latest developments and technology in the world of biscuits:
    http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com

The chap who runs it is very nice, I wrote a review for him once of the lesser spotted white bourbon.

  • yeah good site. ^
In the 90's when living in penury living off toast and marijuana me and Eightball used to write a weekly biscuit top ten for the assembled heads in the house,

Gotta bake a load of heart cookies tommorrow, mmm, now I need cake,
and ive been riding tonight, its justified.
    hunting

  • It would seem this thread requires a much needed bump.
