Ice-T
**
**Political views
He has condemned the alleged involvement of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Intelligence_Agency and elsewhere[16]) on tracks such as "This One's for Me" and "Message to the Soldier", and in sections of his book.
He was criticized for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misogyny in his lyrics, and this has deterred some people from supporting him. In The Ice Opinion, he claimed that he was a feminist insofar as he believed in equal pay for women and equal rights generally. He argued against the position that being a stripper or a model is demeaning to women by an analogy with a man who considers a gay man to be demeaning all men by his actions, arguing that if the latter feeling is untenable, the former is as well.
The track "Escape from the Killing Fields" expressed a difference in views from rappers like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_D[/I] in 1994, Ice-T's music has contained much less political commentary than before.
In 1994, Ice-T wrote a book titled The Ice Opinion: Who Gives a Fuck?.[2] The purpose of the 199-page book was to respond to questions about his political beliefs, his life and the controversy surrounding his music. Having often voiced controversial statements about corruption, he goes into detail about his suspicions of police/CIA involvement in drug trafficking and of how certain businesses profit from prison-building. The ten chapters are:- The Jungle Creed
- The Killing Fields
- Crime and Punishment
- Men, Women and Sex
- Rap: the art of Shit Talkin'
- Religion: One Percent Nation
- Racism
- Riots and Revolution
- The Controversy
- The Future / No Fear
- The Jungle Creed

Misogyny (IPA: /mɪˈsɒʤəˌni/) is hatred or strong prejudice against women; an antonym of philogyny. Although misogyny is sometimes confused with misanthropy, the terms are not interchangeable, for the latter refers more generally to the hatred of humanity. A concept related to misogyny is gynephobia, the fear of women, but not necessarily hatred of them. Compared with anti-woman sexism or misandry (hatred, strong prejudice against men), misogyny is termed by most feminist theories as a political ideology like racism and antisemitism that justifies and maintains the subordination of women to men.

I really admire people who cycle with their children to school. But sometimes it seriously worries me.
This morning a Dad and kid (tiny bike, probably 5 year old) at the crossing Warwick Way to Wilton Road (SW1). They're at the lights near me, Dad on the left, child on the right. I look at the kid's bike and really wonder how he can ride on the road with his toy bike. Ah but problem solved, Dad pulls his kid by the hood and off they go into the sunrise.... WTF!?!?!?!?

Today someone waiting at a pedestrian crossing which had the red man displayed watched myself and the cars behind me approaching and still decided it would be appropriate to push their wheelchair bound charge out into the road and to play real life frogger. The result was myself and the cars all having to slam on the anchors.
You are a cunt of the highest order. I assume this was either someone you are paid to look after or a relative. Either way taking such a risk is fucking moronic.

slow down sir.
There are certain sections of road that I'm not always safe slowing down on eg Gracechurch onto King William St onto London Bridge yet idiots give you a bad look (like they've found out you shat into their weetabix once they've finished the box) as they saunter across on the red man. I swerve and I'm fucked while they take no responsibility. If I had brake lights fine but I don't so don't be a selfish prick look properly, and look lively if you see me coming with Lorry's, busses and white vans speeding up behind me.

understandable mate, but that's down to bad road design & infrastructure that isn't particularly suited to cycles. can't lay blame at the ped for that.

Some prick on a bike with red tyres decided the other day to take a shortcut across the Harrow Green junction in Leytonstone. Not only he went through the red while turning right, but also on the wrong side of the road to make it quicker, almost riding into a car turning left on a green. WAC!

Bad road design could be said to make the issue worse, but its still pretty idiotic to walk out into oncoming traffic on the red man, bike or not.
