It's because we all take bull testosterone supplements. You just haven't received yours in the post yet.

So why don't you now post it in that thread, or re-post it like millions of other people have, or how about you just delete it from this thread, that'd be the sensible thing yes?
So why didn't you think of finding that thread before sticking it in here....?
No offense intended but why would you post that in a BMX thread?
His style is heavily influenced by BMX.By similar logic, I could argue that this entire thread doesn't belong on this forum, since it's not a BMX forum.
Give the dude a break. It's not as if he posted anything offensive that you actually needed to call out, you could have just ignored it instead of being condescending.

By your argument Fixed gear freestyle is BMX influenced, so all those video's should be in here.

no, fixed gear freestyle is shit.

Shit or not it's still BMX influenced.
I could find you a number of BMXers who hate trials and would happily call it shit. -

I was one of them, but then I grew up.
Removed my irrational dislike of anything non-bmx, and saw how amazing good trials riding can be.
Sadly no amount ofgrowing up can make anyone see anything good about 700cmx

Nice contradiction of yourself there. My view is that it's awesome that people ride, irrespective of discipline.
It doesn't mean I want to watch it though. -

Is it a bit like 70 + porn, it's awesome that people can still have sexy fun times at 70+ but you don't want to watch it?
-
• #636
You know I only like watching your home movies.

Now, moving on from the fuckwitted quibblery:http://video.mpora.com/p/7tIg62toB
[quote]In between shooting photos for the Iraq article in the magazine this month, Walter Pieringer shot some video footage on his DSLR of his traveling companions getting attacked by dogs, riding in helicopters, and blowing shit up in the desert. He cut together this edit to try to convey a little bit of what it was like traveling to a war zone to ride BMX bikes.

I'm tempted to buy it just for that. Also for the STP interview, because he used to be one of my best mates back in the days of weekly Derby Storm sessions (haven't spoken to him for a couple of years though, oops) and it was always amazing to see him ride. He wasn't a trick ferret but the guy, would go twice as high as anyone else over Storm's jumpbox on his aluminium 2-hip Pork, throwing textbook tables and turndowns. Always an inspiring rider just because he was so positive and just loved going really fast and high. Made friends with Niki Croft through him as well (back when Niki used to ride a Free Agent Fortress and wasn't particularly good at riding). I should dig out some of the slides from various photo sessions with those guys, bit of nostalgia :D
Waffling-on-about-the-good-old-days-aside, Ride has been doing some excellent articles lately - I really liked that Hull article, as it wasn't just about riding it was quite educational, and interesting to see a brief socioeconomic history of a town, in a BMX magazine - rather than the usual boring 'we went to (place) and did some tricks, then we went soemwhere else and did more tricks' that I would never want to read.
Also that really useful roadtrip guide that I think was in the same issue. Brilliant stuff!
As much as I hate war and guns and killing, that Iraq demo was pretty ace.
