This is a pretty sick video of a comp Nike 6.0 put on in a old tunnel in the deepest depths of the country side. the set-up is awesome and the riding is crazy.

Has anyone got any decent bmx vids recently? Perhaps we could do a bit of a bmx dvd library between the few of us. I've got a few decent slightly older ones (such as cassette, no front teeth, voices, etc) and a couple of newer ones from United, so on.

Some photos not featuring tucks for you. (granted there were a few)
when does this happen? I live 2 mins from this island. Would love to see some BMXers ripping it up. Occasionally I see 1 or 2 there but nothing like this.

amazing video guys but i posted this on another forum as its VERY local to me. 20 minutes up the road. Another local did a bit of digging on the subject and came up with this -
"
Tunnel Jam Update:
Being local, and intriguing, I did a bit of research. I'd guessed the location immediately - as any local would. Here's a nice story about corporate responsibility.
Nike paid for the Jam, to the tune of several hundred thousand pounds (or even more dollars). They installed lighting in the tunnel. They re-surfaced the floor. They built a huge and amazing ramp complex. They flew in some of the world's best riders from the US. They did all of this with the sole intention of gaining a good return on their investment. It was a purely commercial operation in order to promote a global brand.
They 'kindly' left the facility to the bunch of local riders who had previously used the tunnel with their own ragged assortment of scrap-wood ramps. These riders had helped with the arrangements that made the event possible in the first place. Wow - the a small bunch of local amatuers had inherited a unique, famous and world class facility built for the best riders on the planet!!!
The plan had always been to keep the location a big secret, so as to protect what had been left. However, it's difficult to keep the location of a world class and highly publicised event in a 1,000 yard disused tunnel a secret for long. The exact location, the Privett Tunnel on the disused Meon Valley Railway, was quickly made public on forums and within a day or two some kids had broken in and the ramps had been covered in grafitti. The first Saturday after the Jam there were fifty unninvited riders at the tunnel entrance trying to get in and ride. The isolated location of the tunnel makes it impossible to protect. Insurance and environmental concerns, a complete lack of utility services, no car parking and the isolated rural location make the tunnel impossible to operate on a commercial basis. I've even heard that Nike insisted on contracts with the landowner forbidding any further commercial use of the ramps, so that it can't even be used to shoot videos if they're offered for sale. Nike have made absolutely sure that they are the only organisation who will ever generate income from what they have installed and left behind. Fitting proper physical security would be completely beyond the limited means of any local riders. The fate of Nike's 'gift' will probably be destruction by vandalism. The substantial wooden structures will be a magnet for arsonists, with the resulting damage to a historic tunnel and its bat population. Nice one Nike - a great gift to the locals."(devoid_punk of singlespeed.net)
turns out its not so great.
I dont know exactly where it is but im sure i could find it, as DP says its a 1000 yard tunnel so its not going to be hard to find for anyone with a basic map reading knowledge especialyl with access to google maps.

It's good to see such a ride going on and there were some good tricks pulled, but that is the worst video I have ever watched! At least a small amount of editing would be nice.

@ yesiamtom Judging from the video it was only on 6th October so with some luck it may all calm down.

One of my favourite riders. I still can't understand how someone can ride so smoothly, with such style of trails yet also ride amazing street and ramp ?!

Doyle's 360 Turndowns are one of the cleanest tricks I've ever seen. Thanks for reminding me of his existence.

This isn't a bmx video but Danny Macaskill again, this time he's done an advert for the new VW golf. There's some real good riding in it.

No offense intended but why would you post that in a BMX thread? -
• #618
bacause at the time it was the most appropriate thread I could see and thought it was still worthy of a post. since you saying that I have now found a specific thread for the rider,
-
• #619
So why didn't you think of finding that thread before sticking it in here....?
-
• #620
I did i searched videos and it was the most appropriate, after Object's comment I searched the riders name, didn't think of that in the first instance. its a good video anyway with a riding style heavily influenced by bmxing.
-
• #621
So why don't you now post it in that thread, or re-post it like millions of other people have, or how about you just delete it from this thread, that'd be the sensible thing yes?
-
• #622
Happy Now! It has been re-posted, I cant believe you guys get so pissy with a slight of topic post.
-
• #623
Maybe because you're about the billionth person to post a Danny Macaskill video.
-
• #624
Leave the guy alone, it was a new video not a repost, he did not start a new thread, it may have initially not been in the best thread for the subject but we don't always thing of the perfect search term straight away, and he gave a good polite explanation but then people keep on goading him.
