Here's some really technical freecoaster riding. Object have you had much of a play with yours yet?

Bar a couple of 10 minute sessions on the road outside my house, today was the first real outing. By the end of the days riding I was used to the gap and able to do all of my usual dominant side tricks but until my stepped bolts turn up I'm down to 2 pegs which is weird enough on it's own.
It's safe to say that I'm not a natural but I'm starting to understand the backwards without pedalling thing.
The main thing I've realised is just how many things I used pedal pressure for, not just half and full cabs but really random stuff like curb feeble to nose manuals and Luc-e stalls.
If it hadn't started raining I'd still be out now.

Awesome, it gets easier and once you get comfortable going backwards with a coaster you miraculously gain the skill to go backwards really far without one as well.
I've had a freecoaster for ages now so I learnt many of my limited repertoire of tricks without the option of using pedal pressure, it definitely made learning hop 3s harder and full cabs are a bastard. I feel as though I notice every time people do the tiniest bitch crank or put a fraction of a crank in to get a bit more speed.

Further freecoaster musings.
My hop 3s haven't suffered as I was already shit at them.
The silence is interesting, I was unaware of just how much I used the click of a cassette to estimate speed.
