I wish people would fucking stop having children!
selfish fucks are overpopulating the place like shit.
no good can come of this, we will all die horribly in a pit of filth and sin.
Ah, but if WE* had children they'd be different!**
- By 'we' I mean 'we cyclists', not me and RPM.
** And of course, this delusion is probably the only reason the species survives. 'Oh yes dear, but our children would be different'.

yeah, I think that covers the middle classes. but the upper and working classes don't give it a moment of thought, they just produce.

I'm a Mail reader living in urban London - I'm not having kids cos I wouldn't want them to mix with the kind of rabble I see on the streets these days.

what I don't get is all the "well done" drivel that people come out with when someone produces a child..
yes, yes, how brave and clever that you've managed to do the one thing that the human race does instinctively (apart from dying).
"Well done" when you win Olympic gold or climb K2, yes.
so you spunked up and didn't use contraception, big deal.

my son has only ever eaten proper healthy food because his mum (8stone) is a bit of a food Nazi funny thing is if you feed them proper they grow up big and strong with non of that hyper activity that you see in some of the other kids don't get me wrong I ain't trying to be holier than thou just that food doesn't just affect your weight it also affects your mood and behaviour and the more I learn about eating for nutrition the more that is something I want for my boy

My kid is different. She saved up her pocket money to buy an encyclopedia. I was simultaneously proud and worried.

Fatties are an environmental disaster, everything about their lives is bad for the planet, they should be chopped into pieces and feed to the starving - fact.

I didn't know what to make of all the 'well dones' when we announced it to family people, especially as most seemed to be directed at me. It was a bit like 'good shot', but it's not that difficult if you know which weeks to go for it.
I do think a 'well done' is in order for the ordeal of childbirth though, including the father to a lesser extent for having to keep it together whilst witnessing all the pain. You get a stark insight into the lottery aspect of it all - doesn't matter which part of the world you live in, the spectre of death looms large in the prelude to new life. It is fucking scary stuff.

The reasons that parks, and other spaces for kids to do things for free go away, often to make room for new flats, is an American policy called "Spacial Deconcentration". It was dreamed up at a meeting police chiefs, high ranking military, national guard, FBI and select politicians after the LA and other race riots in the US. There was one issue on the table, how to limit political damage, and re-occurance of race riots, and decimate the base of political "black power" groups (like the Black Panther Party).
They met for a while and came up with a solution, they would simply move all the poor people out of the inner city slums, into suburban slums, with limited transport links. This was a perfect solution, as it would be harder for riots to brake out in the out skirts, and they would be easier to contain as there would be less people rioting, and the slums would be easier to contain. Also it would be harder for the "political groups" to get a base in the community, as they would need to cover allot more miles, and the community projects that won the BPP support would have to be set up in many parts of the city, not just the centre.
The only problem was how are they going to get people to move out. Simple, they would wipe out all the social projects (parks, swimming pools, sports centres, ect) and where possible replace them with new high rent housing complexes, or other things more attractive to the middle classes (art galleries, cinemas, wine bars, ect). They would build new social housing projects out in the suburbs that had been in demand during the "white flight" in the 50's and 60's. This would lower the property value of the older suburban "ranch" houses, making the areas even less attrictive to ricer people, and more affordable to the poor.
The project worked wonders, it was tried out in smaller cities, then moved to larger ones on its success, now NYC is one of the few American cites yet to be fully "deconcentrated". The plan was adopted by other nations, france took it to heart, and even the recent damaging riots in paris, where more esaly contained because the housing projects are so spared apart. It has been being used in the UK as well, but brits have not taken to it as whole heartedly as the americans.

I once flew transatlantic in a seat between two obese Americans. After about an hour I fucking lost it demanding that the airline give me another seat not being physically shared by me and two other individuals. Fortunately there were spare seats but I ended up with a big chip towards fat people that stayed with me for quite a long time. A chipo incidently not helped by the fact that I spend a third of the year in the Chicago burbs. Finally I had to let it go because I realised that people eat like that because they feel bad about themselves and eating makes the feel better as least in the momet. What fat people need is a spiritual dimension to there existance that allows them to feel good about themselves without the need for comfort food.

My son got his cord wrapped around his neck after twenty five hours of labour they had to ciscerain section to have any chance of saving the boys life the doctor about to leave for theatre went looking for me and found me in standing in the linen cupboard praying to whatever fucking god I thought would listen just about the only decent thing I ever did in my life was to be 'there' every single moment of that day for my wife

Not so much about the fat thing, but it's so refreshing to see someone who isn't riddled with self-loathing over their body size/shape/weight.

People go on about childbirth being the most natural thing in the world.
Well, all I know is, that if my wife had tried to give birth in an age before Caesareans, they both would've died. Pelvic bones and foetuses aren't standardised.
Still, we're all here now, so let's make the most of it :)

In Wal-mart palatine illinois I can't find underwear small enough to fit me
I am 6ft and I weigh 175Ibs and I am buff because I regularly work out
America has got a fucking big problem and I don't think 'acceptance' of unhealthy behaviour is the solution still it is damn hard in that society to stay slim as it seems as everything is geared up against it from bad diet, big portions and an over reliance on car use them two are pretty slim as it goes I have seen plenty 400 pounders infact now I think about it they have electric chairs in that walmart for people to fat to walk around but no underwear for normal sized people innit

In those situations, I head to the kids section. A lot more fun and everything fits.
