Is this forum going downhill, due to numpty newbies?

Use tags FTW! Surely it's what they are there for? (And to generally take the piss of course).

tags were being abused, all the informative ones, got swamped by the pisstake ones, v. funny of course, but generally not helpful in finding information in any shape or form.
I'm gonna start using tags to search for things and see how it goes.

As a relative noob myself who has used this forum to research pretty much everything needed to build a new bike I can only say to other potentially overwhelmed newbies....

Patience. Dont be lazy and post a new thread about something you think is unique to you. Absolutely everything about every aspect of bikes has been punted back and forth on here so persevere and you shall find. Discussions do continue for a long time on different slants so dont be afraid to add your slant, but try not to repeat what other's have said.

Established members appear to have gone to alot of trouble to make it easy for you. They will be more forthcoming with answers and advice when you have shown you have utilised the forum first.

It's far more rewarding to receive considered responses to considered questions.

This forum pretty much built my bike, and for that I am grateful.

How do I multi quote?

on the right handside next to "quick reply" you will see "multi-quote" hit that as you need then the last one hit "quote"

@mr.big-g, don't multi-quote, if you just quote you usually get the full post.
