Cut there twist the lock off at the d's weakest point... and that my friend is a stolen bike. Maybe put your bike up on the stolen bikes thread so you can give people the heads up?

Maybe it's a silly question...but what is the point of using bar of that guage for the lock and then securing it with a padlock with a smaller guage horseshoe? a chain is only as strong as its weakest link after all...just makes all that bulk on the lock extra weight.

not the lock, the hole you are drilling in one end of the U-bend, is small and weak.
will you need to hire a sherpa to carry that beast?
