Penguin Colours

It's based on/copying the Koga, but things like the lack of black line and so forth is meant to distance it.

I should've bought that Koga from Guy and make tribute to Fuji.
Would be great to lock them up together outside the Roebuck and mess with people's heads.

Yes, Penguin itself varied the style over the years, but I don't think they ever had solid lines between the white and the other colour (except for the emblem at the top):

The closest they got were the lines straddling the white and orange.

Oliver- lack of black lines on the books meant no black lines on the frame.

It's not to everyones taste I am aware, I quite like it though.

looks good sofar, neil. the books do have a bit of black lines on their cover - instead the silver > black components?

in that one picture, it seems to have some different shades of orange at the fork area. is that sun/shadow related? anyway, can't wait to see it in flesh.

ALTHOUGH! I think it would have been a better idea to use orange grips on the bars... rather than just paint them orange where the grips should be... Or maybe clear grips over the orange bits? That would look cool.

That's actually a great idea. You will still have grips, but without the headache of poor colour matching.

It'll also make the bike look finished, and you'd still have the plus of painted bars ;-)

I've got clear Keiron grips if you need them...

Clear grips have always been the plan gentlemen- Hillbilly bought some to Souths last night but they were sub-optimal.
