I will admit it. Stupid fast bike riding has caught up with me. Today I am a mess. On the ride in this morning, I got overtaken by other bicycles, and I didn’t even try to respond.

Yesterday the tiredness just felt like lack of sleep, nothing physical, but today I just feel heavy and slow.

Swains will be interesting later.

Exactly this, apart from the lack of responding, obviously :P I'm planning on taking my now-roadworthy tandem to the track to mix it up with the triathletes (and, optimistically, give them something to worry about. though with my legs as heavy as they are today, I hope the stoker's feeling fresh.)
If the weather takes a turn and it's too damp for that I'll be struggling up the hill for a drink or two with you lot instead.

Got my hat at on the Dynamo, they're very nice, well worth a tenner from anyone's drinking fund. Arrive early to avoid disappointment (tho not so early that you've drunk the contents of your wallet before the hats arrive).
