that's exactly the plan, cheap frame - quality parts. No embarrassment about buying a shiny, expensive and, most importantly, black hub because thats what I wanted. Except, obviously, the expensive part.
Only posted it up because i was surprised how nice Sideways were.

Summer tyres are here
Michelin pro race 3's. 23 on the front, 25 on the rear for the constant downhill effect.

Fair fucks, Mr. amnesia... it's a decent plan. I was just amused by Mr. Smyth's sardonic contribution.

Is this true? Does it feel like going downhill?
Always wondered about that one.

@superprecise - mr smyth speaks the truth, as always,it's just a little difficult to swallow when on the recieving end. I'll be sure to post in current projects once i'm a little further advanced, if this is the reaction at the moment it's sure to induce a coronary once complete.

I got a chain wear indicator today, not 100% on how to use it, but I can work out my chain is beyond worn and should be replaced asap.
Luckily a new chain also arrived. -

What's the rest of the spec? Interested to see if it tops mine.

It has even greater levels of win.
As the bike is heavier with the extra weight of rubber on the bigger tyre it goes even faster. As we all know fat people descend faster due to extra stored e(nerg)y and the always downhill bike has more kinetic juice.
Fixie fuckwit fysics ftw.

@chrismgs - thomson stem&post, chris king, slr, sugino75/xd with polo ring(depending on usage) gusset jury sl forks, avid mechanical disc with cable splitter so i can swap between drops and risers and a fixed phil track wheel on the back.
need to take all unneccessary lumps off the frame and powdercoat then i'm good to go. strangely even with all that gear it still works out cheaper than mdcctesters number. -
