    Free?! Real nice!

  • In venturing into the world of conti, the two miles I role on them today gave me the impression they have lower rolling resistance than my schwalbe's

also got two pairs of these:

had a few terrifying moments when my foot has suddenly unclipped from my SPD's. Don't get to use these until next week though as their a birthday present. I was surprised how much bigger than shimano pedals they are.

  • just to let you know, time's first felt weird to me like riding on soap, but after a while you realise how much better they are, just takes a bit of time, and also much more force is needed to clip in than on spds, but the feeling of saftey is so much more.

  • Not actually got yet, but chum in the US just mailed to say he's just set me a new set of Juicy 5's he had kicking around without a need for. Result!

thanks for that, I presume its the same amount of force to unclip though?

  • SPDs are adjustable, These not. So depends on settings....

  • i have mine on the maximum tension

  • I reckon there's not a million miles between them. Different feel though on account of clear shape.

  • spotter good move.
best pedals and best tyres for city use.

    Maxxis Refuse tyres are mega.

  • maxxis refuse fall apart

  • Could they possibly be rubbish? Who knew?

  • They reach a certain point of skiddednes and they seem to unravel, yes, but they are great right up to that point

  • :)
