You're probably right, will put them on the fixed wheel bicycle, despite the difference it's still a lots better than stock pads.
SP; apologise if it does seemed like I'm doing such thing, but the performance difference from the stock Shimano are very noticable, I don't even have to worry about riding in the wet anymore.

By the way, I bought this great calculator. It has all these great functions. If you don't buy one, like I have, then you are a fool.
Does it do sin, cos and tan?

Nice.
I've just got one of planet x's cnc ultralight calipers. It seems to have no way of connecting a brake cable. Did they leave a bit out or have I forgotten to order an extra part? I'm guessing I need a screw in barrel bit that fits under the red arm in this picture

One day I hope to open this thread and see a human head, or a death threat, or such like.
As opposed to lovely componentry.

i bought planet x cantis and they had a kind of grub screw fitting which held the cable and fitted under a similar red hook to the one in your pic. (the silver pieces in the centre of this pic, one each side of the looped cable) - maybe you're missing something similar?

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I'll give them an email.

There's a barrel part that the cable goes through that fits under the 'hook' looking bit.

I got a document outlining some changeover to digital TV and one talking about HS2 consultation..

New pads;
much, much, much better, if you're still running original pads on your bike, you'll be a fool not to change it.
Ed why pure salmon over dual compound? I find dual have the same stopping power but last quite a bit longer. No noticeable difference in rim wear either.

I know you;re excited, but that is a lock and some bartape.
Give me a good reason why kool-stop are better than standard pads. Oh, they're better are they? That'll be it then.
Honestly Ed, you sound like such a self-righteous arse sometimes. I'm really pleased that you've managed to drag your discovery of cycling out over such a long period of time, but please don't imagine that the rest of us are as clueless as you seem to think we are.
