  • Beautiful to look at but maybe not so much when the skin wrinkles a bit.

Shape of the arm scares me..

  • wtf is going on with that arm. upside down bicep?

  • Err, that would be the tricep.

  • yeah but come on, that fucking lump!

    Bingo-wing or muscle?

  • bingo-over muscle-wing?

  • "(...) pretty, blonde, young (...)."

If only she was ethnic, with afro and middle age... As this is were those nasty tattoos belong (according to the Daily Mail, probably).

  • bingo-over muscle-wing?

This. Probably! It is scary, both arm and the tattoo!

  • Had my foo dog corrected and shaded. The original outline was done too deep with a fat needle and the added bits chaotic (like the messed up wind swirl). Guy who originally started it has lost his enthusiasm - he was a couple of hours late for the last session and done everything freehand.
A friend of mine shaded the whole thing and filled with colour. I'm pretty sure I will finish the sleeve in his "salon" if the rest he comes up with is as good as that flower. He's not a pro, but has been tattooing as a hobby for a couple of decades now. Not even mentioning the fact, that I paid £100 for a half night of him scratching my arm.

  • Ha fair play man. That's really funny, I was on Tika's facebook earlier and on her profile she had both Chad and Steve's FB's hence me contacting Steve in the first place. Never heard of Chad until then but yeah, his work is sweet.

Out of interest, as we seem to share similar tastes, what do you think of mixing styles? E.g. if I were to get something by Guy or Ien Levin in all black when I already have traditional colour work? Cannot decide whether it would look shit or not...

Depends. Generally, if the tattoo is good I don't really see a problem with mixing styles a bit. As long as you're happy with it yourself, doesn't matter what everyone else thinks. I've got some old school and other styles mixed. Mainly going old school from now on though.

Nesbit are you getting your hands done? If so, what?

Getting a bear on one and a panther on the other. Might put some moustaches/monocles/scars/gold teeth on them, not decided yet. I'll see what Chad thinks.

  • i want to get a gorilla head wit ha party hat on.
not on my hands (unless i can afford to give up paid employment)

I like this, although I wouldn't have it myself.

Looks like a rotting marrow, at first glance. From a distance even more so, I'd imagine.
