He means it looks like you have 'pollinated' it.

Only you would own your own bloody tattoo artist.
I've been giving him a lot of money for a long time. I must own at least his arm my now?

Was chatting to someone over the weekend about the Guardian article and they said to me "that tosser Tony Parsons wrote the exact same thing in tabloid-ese a few weeks back. The Guardian are just re-hashing it in a less polemical, different way to appeal to their readers, but essentially its to provoke the same reaction".
Might have a point alright. Here's Parson's article. The comments below it are similar to the Guardian one, just not as intellectual.

"On Tuesday, a tattooed lady called Joanna Southgate – pretty, blonde, young – swerved past the dress code at Royal Ascot by waiting until she was inside before revealing that her arms are covered in what looks like a three-year-old’s finger paintings."
The lady in question:
This angers me. What a piece of shit article, and more importantly WAC!

Emailed Steve Byrne, I await his reply with excitement. Have only asked him when he is about/waiting lists etc but excited nonetheless.

I never even saw her cherries

I think Joanna Southgate looks dashing and classy. I'd also like to bet that she didn't get absolutely rat arsed and embarrass herself like most of the "TWUNTS" we see by the end of the day at Ascot. Money doesn't buy class, but by the looks of her sleeves it has purcahsed her some beautiful Ink.
I think we should hold Tony Parsons down and tattoo him. Just so he can be as disgusted with himself as he seems to be with the rest of his fellow man -

Be prepared for a wait, my good man. I got some work from him at the beginning of last year, where he said he might be about for the London convention, but he hasn't replied to my email/instaDM/fb message sent in May-ish. Worth the wait though.

Ha I know friend, I remember you were thinking about a 'hand job' from him, so to speak?
In no rush - if his waiting list is ridiculous though, I may plan a trip to Krakow to see Edek Qwerty, or Berlin when Guy Le Tattooer is stopping by. Not sure yet. Well they are my list of artists that I want work from anyway.

Thanks for that. Nefarious. Nearly as pointless and redundant as you picking up on it and bothering to post? Or are you just sore because actually you are a bit of a fan of Royal Ascot and rather enjoy getting joyously twatted on over priced champagne? Only to be fair, and all that.
To be fair, this is an utterly pointless and redundant observation.

It was more due to that fact we're all blasting people making assumptions based on appearance and then you go and make some completely arbitrary assumptions while knowing nothing about the person.

Well, if you know her - that's a different story and I retract my comment. Apologies.

She's hot
'mates with her on facebook' is not a real mate

Yeah, I wanted him to do my hands. Chad Koeplinger is doing them now, not a bad replacement...
If he's coming to the UK you should be able to book in. I've got dibs though :)

Ha fair play man. That's really funny, I was on Tika's facebook earlier and on her profile she had both Chad and Steve's FB's hence me contacting Steve in the first place. Never heard of Chad until then but yeah, his work is sweet.
Out of interest, as we seem to share similar tastes, what do you think of mixing styles? E.g. if I were to get something by Guy or Ien Levin in all black when I already have traditional colour work? Cannot decide whether it would look shit or not...

Nesbit are you getting your hands done? If so, what?
