Though about this after our conversation the other night :/
Wad gonna be on my upper arm but it got talked up, fits perfect where it is though so I'm more than happy.

Not my design this one, she had already drawn this up as a tattoo she wanted to do, and I wanted a dagger by chance. Think that's why it came out so well.

For sure though, send me some ideas if you're still interested.

    Cheers guys!

  • Placement is perfect, don't think it would have looked right on your upper arm. What's next?

  • @ JordanD Been thinking of an ornate keep on my inner arm - similar to the one on the cover of Ogdens Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces - at a client site so can't post pics

  • I want ninja monkeys fighting robots for around my forearm, manga kinda style cute monkeys, mecha style robots, mainly black line work with a few red accents.

I don't know why, but I think tattoos like this are incredibly unappealing.

Weird, sounded exactly like what you were after based on the above.

    thanks mate!

  • I meant not to offend. Each to their own I guess, just prefer traditional.

  • I've got line drawings and a little shading in my head, there is too much colour and realism in those to match what I want, I've tried drawing it a few times but have somewhat limited skills when to comes to doodling anything slightly complicated, also skint.

  • Finally got round to sending the first email about next tattoo...

The problem is- I have to have balance- so since this will be left shoulder (probably) I'll have to think of something for the right!

  • I used think like that as well, but when I totalled up the price of my left sleeve I got over the idea soon enough

  • Fuck symmetry.
My mate Phil had a 3/4 sleeve, when he for the other arm done he spent a good 20mins making sure it ended inline with the other sleeve.
Madness, I have a boat on my right upper (its shit, we don't talk about it) and my left arm is collecting all manner of old school goodies.

  • Going to Brighton tomorrow for consultation with Kate McKay Gill to see about getting started on a pair of 3/4 sleeves I've been thinking about for past 6 years. I'm turning 30 this year and want to get started even if it's just some outline.

  • Booked in for August. Can't wait to see the designs she comes up with.

  • Valerie Vargas did this today!
