Supposedly going to the london convention this fri (yeah I know its overrated and blah blah, but there's some names Im interested in meeting) so hopefully Ill find someone.

yeah it is Escher.. I love him! Would be interesting to see the leg piece I couldn't find examples of it as a tattoo on t'internet

I used to love conventions but got a bit burned out on them for some reason. This one's close and I haven't been to one in London so I'm still hemming and hawing.

Know fuck all about tattoos.
Want this on the inside of my forearm (or maybe on me leg) at some point in the near future. Any recommendations of an artist who can nail this sort of thing, most appreciated

Artistically it's not a difficult piece so I reckon you should check out a few parlours, speak to the artists and get their opinion, maybe see if they have any of their own ideas or if they'd do anything differently, then just pick the one you like the most.

Forever More Tattoo in Shepards Bush could be worth a try not sure how local that is to you,but I travelled over from Essex to get a Tat done there would recommend them.

It doesn't look too complicated, but concerned that it may be difficult to get the stave lines perfectly parallel. Perhaps that's a naive concern.

One more Q, for those in the know. There is a Yann Black tattoo that i would love to get in the future. Not sure if it's frowned upron, but would it be correct to request a replication from another artist who is local?

That's massively frowned upon as it's outright plagiarism.
If you want a Yann Black go see he in Montreal or wait until he's touring Europe again.

If you want something in the style of Yann Black then maybe consider finding another artist with a similar style.

If you want an exact copy of a Yann Black tattoo which you have seen, expect any reputable artist (Including Yann Black himself) to say no.
