Seeing this thread reminds me that I never shared my baby praying mantis - done by Nick Whybrow based on recommendation from here. Very pleased with it and now want to get a load more.
(not the best photo as taken immediately afterwards. It's on the side of my leg.)

Really nicely done, love the fine details

Thanks, was a great experience. Would highly recommend Nick. Hopefully haven't ruined it by going cycle camping in Scotland under a week after.
(pretty sure I haven't, spent a lot of time with antibacterial wipes and angling myself away from what sun there was). -

Anyone know anything about bootyhole tattoos? My partner is looking to get hers done and wondering if anyone knows anyone who’s done it or female artists(preferably London) open to spicy madness? I’ve put in a message to my mate Malice as she’s the only person I’ve met who’s got it done afaik.
Completely understand it’s not something all artists would do and would almost certainly charge a premium for but yeah, any leads appreciated.

Not judging but wondering why someone would get that done and what would the design be. Not many people would get to see it either…?

Any recommendations for Scottish tattoo folk? I'm in Glasgow but willing to travel.

My partner teaches pole dance/yoga and also works in ‘adult’ meditation/wellness. Plenty of folks will see it potentially.
As with any tattoo on any part of the body, I think the only answer is ‘because I want it’.
Also, even if it wasn’t on show in her case, plenty of people have tattoos for themselves that no one else sees.Different strokes for different folks etc :)
Mandalas are what you see most if you brave the google image search but that’s not what she’s got in mind.

Ah interesting stuff. Think I’ll leave it to the imagination and not google that

Out of curiosity how do they keep the skin evenly stretched as they work? Is there a risk of it being lopsided?
-
• #13215
Honestly I don’t know the mechanics of it, can think of plenty of other areas where the artist has to work hard to keep the skin tight.
There’s a video out there of Malice having hers done(she released it as a charity fundraiser and made a fuckload of cash) but I didn’t fancy seeing my mates arse close up.
Afaik the customer has to be on all fours but other than that it’s as much a mystery to me. Hence looking for advice.Malice got back to my text just now and is 100% down to clown so my partner is getting in touch with her and go from there.
Obviously won’t be able to post the results if she goes for it lol

That is wild. I guess the design choices are somehow limited…

A couple of recent self pokes. Not as exciting as bum holes. Leaf just above knee, sun on upper arm.

Getting tatted by Kamila Daisy at Good Times in Hackney, probably the nicest tattoo parlour I've ever been in.

I got a small patch today, aftercare advice very different to last time. I guess so long as I care one way or the other it should be fine?
Today advised no Bepanthen on any accounts, just clean & hustle butter, and to leave it to the air pretty much a couple hours after completion, I'm yet to take the clingfilm off at 4 hrs but will do later.
Last time I looked through Instagram trying to find anyone in London doing blackwork with bold lines, it was almost nonexistent. Seems to still be a thing in the north, Scotland, and Europe/US.
TBF most of mine were from people guesting in London, mostly from all of those places.
