If I'm not riding a bike I'm at home or at work wearing different shoes so techincally yes?
Scott even made me a set of none adjustable straps for my polo bike which were measured exactly to fit the trainers I wear when I'm not riding time atacs.

You've out-debated me, i concede defeat some people DO buy trainers just to ride their bikes : )
-

Sorry.
To be fair I have a very limited range of trainers that I can actually buy as most companies do not makes completely vegan trainers (Converse did but I won't buy them now that the company was baught out.)
It's a case of find something that works and stick with it.

Try the macbeth vegan ones. They're pretty comfortable to ride in.
Thanks for the advice team - got some Fujitoshi's on order and I'll try and hustle up some black cages to go with them. Fashion over functionality.

I've used Odessa's for years but this years range they've failed me.
They've gone from a Vegan Company to using action leather or suede on virtually every shoe they make. That said. The ones I've been using for the last year and a half have been located at massive knock down price (£15.00 per pair).
I'll check out the Macbeth and Dek too though.
Cheers for the headsup.

Where can I get the Soma cages from? Google isn't working for me at all today.
-

the soma shop direct? Havent been able to find UK retailers. I know BLB carries SOMA but might not have the 4-gates in black.
*edit - mosquito bikes carry their frames. If you ask nicely maybe they can get the black ones you want.

do we have photos of what tese fgl toestraps look like? i quite like the home made aesthetic of having a big leather holster for the two straps.
-
• #67
I don't personally but to me they look pretty much exactly the same as toshi's
I've got a new pair of them coming in a bit (hopefully) so I'll take some pictures when I get them -

**do i need special cages for double straps? hmm?
** -
• #71
**no. **but your pedals need to be able to take two straps. you can get special clips for turning two single toe straps into doubles though. they're cool.

I want to make my own.Maybe I should ask SNS.

Yeah you too, couldn't stay long as me lady was at home.
My bag is amazing. Needs a thread...
Fair enough. Do you take them off and put them in your bag when your not riding your bike though? Thats what i was kinda trying to make the point about with clipless shoes. They have one specific use and are pretty useless for anything else whereas trainers can be used for almost anything.
