  • Cheers both, I shall go have a look and report back.

  • I was actually going to go to my favourite curry house in Elephant to ask for some, they would probably sell me a block, but I know I'd also just end up buying the curry... best not...

  • I'd be surprised if Nour doesn't have it and I think I've seen it in SW Food Store (near the corner of Atlantic Road and Electric Avenue, opposite the Atlantic Road entrance to Nour).

It is also very simple to make. https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-paneer-cheese-in-30-minutes-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-57008

  • I've never not found paneer in a supermarket when I've looked for it.

  • I just popped into the Tesco Metro in the Elephant shopping centre (as I am still stuck at work) on the off chance and they have some panner there, not sure if it's any good though.

Results for the pot of curry this weekend... :-)

  • this thread delivars!

    yeah but nour C&C tho.

  • I am gonna try make it next time. It does look very easy. Have you made much?

  • Aye. A nut-milk style bag makes it easier than just using cheesecloth.

  • Anyone know where I can buy Ponzu sauce in Brixton?

  • Leytonstone branch compulsorily shut after mice infestation.

  • Have you tried wing tai on electric avenue? Might not be best for japanese stuff but worth a shot

  • Good call. Thanks.

  • Sorry didn't see you reply...

Have a couple of weeks holiday coming up soon so will give it a go. Thanks for the tips.

  • Room in our flat is empty in SW2 Streatham Hill, it's a bit crap but only £80/week.

  • Anyone know what's going on in Crystal Palace? Photos show ambulances, fire engines, police and a medical helicopter but can only find "police incident" online.

  • Interesting. I saw a police convoy including an armoured Range Rover heading that way at about 2pm. I assumes it was Theresa heading to Biggin Hill.

  • Brixton Clink is definitely worth going to
No alcohol so means cheap and no mobile phones means no twats instagrammin their dinner
Very tasty and moral high ground achieved #boastpost

  • Don't know why but I enjoy that the FAQ includes the question "Can I speak to the prisoners?"

  • Was that the builder who fell off the scaffolding over the Westow Pub

  • That's what I eventually heard. Do you know any more details? As horrible as it must have been, it was a massive response.

  • BTW I was in the Trinity on my last night in town, absolutely stuffed with young, besuited, posh cunts, it was wall-to-fucking-wall... Hideous...

  • Gosh, they've resurfaced Patmos road. Once-per-decade event?

  • White flight enthusiasts trying to make themselves feel better about suburban/provincial life can >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

None of you were exactly regulars at places like the Hero of Switzerland in the first place...
