Kebab with extra chilli would have kept them happy

Sydenham's getting ideas now too. That new (ish) sushi place is great. Well their delivery is anyway. Never actually been in but have ordered half a dozen times and it's been seriously great. They deliver cold beer too. Lifesaver. http://www.hibagonsushiandgrill.com/

Bakery, Cafe, Restraunt, Internet Cafe nearer the train station, one of the off licenses.

Bang. That means the bread in HH is from there then.
Hibagon is good? Good to know. There's Bob wines at Sydenham now.
And doorz is now dulwich restoration. -

Spotted this on Friday. Hope it doesn't affect Jerk Centre at all. I know their business is steady but it's the people they donate food to that I'm worried about.

Has the Phoenix moved back to their old spot yet?
-
• #2458
Is that the plan? Was worried when I saw they were closed again. With them closed and Kaff gone decent breakfast options feel a bit limited.
Also, Dirty Burger?
-
• #2459
The Phoenix boys have their own little property empire in Brixton, as far as I know they were going back to the old premises once it'd been renovated... Who knows?!? Brixtaine's gone craycray!

I thought I was losing the plot as went for a breakfast and there was no sign of them.
Anyone suggest alternatives for a decent fry up ?

Has anyone left any wheels down Dorrell Pl? There's some locked up with a crappy padlock and weak chain that used to be attached to a grubby Foffa w/ SPD pedals. Saw the whole assembly the other week and didn't believe anyone would use that kind of lock if they had SPDs, now the frame's gone but wheels remain.
That coupled with the amount of 'This bike's been nabbed' letters from the council... Or am I overthinking?

Anyone suggest ( @>>>>>>; @greenhell @Aroogah @Chalfie )Who does the best burger in the market? After one to BBQ not an honest dirty burger. (Edit - looking for a butcher to get the burgers from)
Also just ripped the ass out of my favorite shorts, did someone say there is a place to go for seamstresses like the arcade?
-
• #2463
Seamstress in the arcade is BOSTIN'. I paid her to fix my jeans, I also paid Dr Denim to fix my jeans. There is no discernible difference.
I don't go out for food very often.
-
• #2465
Also. I live in Sydenham. Home of London's best restaurant.
(or it was)
-
• #2466
Cheers gents, off to get the shorts fixed and take a gamble on one of the butchers for the burgers.
-
• #2467
Seamstress is in Reliance Arcade, not the other side. If you go there, drop into Claudia's record shop (which is away from Brixton Road).

Is that the one on the left which is heavy into the jazz and blues?

best bet for burger meat would be Dombey's in the market, almost opposite the wine place, though haven't gone to him for beef mince before,
if you want a pre made burger, then best but pricey bet is moen's
http://moen.co.uk/or if you're more south easterly, william rose http://williamrosebutchers.co.uk/
or there is a ginger pig on abbeville road https://www.thegingerpig.co.uk/shops/abbeville-road/

Moen is pretty decent, and only place I know to get morcilla now A&C is gone.
-
• #2471
did not know they did morcilla, will head over and buy some soon, would need to get a steak, and some chorizo at the same time, to get that all over Argentinian feeling, but them's the breaks..
-
• #2472
Go to Dombey's and get them to grind you up some chuck steak, get them to put it though twice if you want it nice and smooth... They're awesome in there, I miss them a lot...
-
• #2473
the folk at dombey's are lovely, they also do super deals on less popular cuts like oxtail. Mrs hell's mum rates them and says there nearly as good as what she gets in Flushing, Queens. she's not one to damn anyone with faint praise.

Left and right is all relative! On the left if you're coming in from the popcorn entrance.

Do they own the bakery?
Really miss that place now I'm in Sydenham.
