I am also looking for a barber to send my boyfriend to as the last place he went to made him look Tintin and then laughed at him. And then I laughed at him and now I feel bad and I need to make amends...

Another vote for Barber of Seville.
There's an Algerian restaurant (BYOB) on Acre Lane. Khamsa. Good, cheap food and the mains are generously sized.

There's a new barber in POP Brixton.
You'll LOVE that.
Haircut, Sir also gets my vote, or the one in Herne Hill next to the picture framers.

apparently owned and operated by the folks that ran the ethiopian restaurant that used to be there who themselves are OG brixtonoidals.
it features 'cheer leader' waitresses... because that's where women belong in the manly world of SPORTS!
Globalisation in your FACE. WOOOOO!

Good on them for spotting a business opportunity.
Cannot wait for the associated rapey culture of frat houses.
