  • Tulse Hill/Brailsford Road.

  • Just near Carpet Right at the start of Tulse Hill, they leg it into Huntingford Rd towards Brockwell Park

  • Not Carpet Right, now a Sainsburys, has been for the last couple of years..

  • Well I've not been to Brixton for about 4yrs so my local knowledge is now redundant so it seems

  • used to be roller skating rink. CSB

  • gravy drain

    Fixed.

  • Rue de Peaux?

    'Road of skins'?

  • Two questions:
decent barbers in brixton - a friend of a friend is in town, her son is studying here, she wants to get his hair tidied up. Lined up, shaped up, fade.

i want to avoid the village for food, i'm supposed to be going for drinks and food tomorrow night. where?

  • Japanese? Don't know the area that well but Ichiban on Atlantic Road is a pre-gig favourite for us.

  • barber of seville (geddit). £$£20 for a buzzcut and a beard trim.

  • Haircut, Sir? opposite the Sainsbury's on Effra Road... Under a tenner, I think @Skülly still goes there...

  • You're gettin' mugged off, m8...

  • Re: Food and bevvies: Go to Le Reej, ask for Matt and tell him you're my mate... Job done...

  • they do the hot towel thing. and they don't talk to you. worth every penny in my book.

  • I am also looking for a barber to send my boyfriend to as the last place he went to made him look Tintin and then laughed at him. And then I laughed at him and now I feel bad and I need to make amends...

  • Do they do the flaming ear hair thing as well?

  • i LOVE the flaming ear thing.

    and lukewarm butt-plug that follows...

  • barber of seville

    Can also recommend, go there

  • Another vote for Barber of Seville.

There's an Algerian restaurant (BYOB) on Acre Lane. Khamsa. Good, cheap food and the mains are generously sized.

  • There's a new barber in POP Brixton.

    You'll LOVE that.

Haircut, Sir also gets my vote, or the one in Herne Hill next to the picture framers.

  • the u75 toolshed is going to go apoplectic over this place.

    superkingtroll/10

  • FFS.

    I'm being trolled. surely?
    WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?
    OH WAIT.
Because, there's lots of Bro's in town and they want to go somewhere they recognise?

  • apparently owned and operated by the folks that ran the ethiopian restaurant that used to be there who themselves are OG brixtonoidals.

it features 'cheer leader' waitresses... because that's where women belong in the manly world of SPORTS!

    Globalisation in your FACE. WOOOOO!

  • Good on them for spotting a business opportunity.
Cannot wait for the associated rapey culture of frat houses.
