Knowles is nice and spacious good beer if a little uninspired on the selection, get there early as the lighting is pretty dismal and you can't see what your drinking eating or who you're talking to, this may or may not be a good thing.
p.s. they do slices of sausage roll.*- not on a square plate.
- not on a square plate.

I idolised Mike Skinner as a teen and tried to do a Streets-themed pub crawl when I moved to SW. Only the Dogstar remained. Tour cancelled.

What the fuck is this place? Is it a restaurant? A pub? All the tables have "reserved" signs on them and menus. Where's the giant fuck off communal tables? what's this shit XfM MOR? Why Is The Menu Written In Camel Case and pegged to an ironic Craig David record sleeve? Why is my pint in a northern whippet owners dimpled mug? Why are there zinc buckets hanging from the ceiling? wiFi's good tho.
All in, not entirely bad. Beers alright. Think I'll stay.
I miss the reej.

Wow. Sounds right up your (Norwood High) street.

• #2239
Get some sausage roll slices it'll make you even angrier.
-
• #2240
It's OK actually. Bar staff are far too friendly. They'd do well to poach tony from the reej.
...tony... Mmmmm

Brixton is a good place for a jaunt; it is newly interesting since David Bowie died, because it was here, at the Ritzy Cinema, that fans came for communion after his “secret” death, as opposed to his “public” death, which I think would have involved David Bowie dying in public, possibly on a gurney outside the Ritzy, after which people would take “corpse selfies”.
Huh?
-
• #2247
The writing doesn't get better. Wow.
-
• #2248
I thought there was double lolz in the article...
Firstly the place being reviewed sounds fucking weird - hip hop themed fish and chips? WTF???
And the ridiculous descriptions of Brixton. They made it sound like a foreign country. But I guess it is to most home county - middle england Telegraph readers
