  • I had a couple of pints in the Reej on Saturday afternoon, got the impression one of barman did not want to be working there and came across a bit surly
Also had a pint of cheshire gold - that stuff was fucking disgusting

  • That's Tony, he was like that when he was at the Effra... Standard Tony sitch... :)

  • tony! Don't ask him to make you a cocktail either. Just don't.

  • It could have been Charlie. Or is he only a dick to people he knows?

  • Or ted danson. Tho his roots have grown out now.

  • Joe's obviously Norm.

  • from a man who has an aversion to square plates in restaurants what are you doing ordering cocktails???

  • ^ Frasier.

  • Mrs hell wanted a pimms. Next silly question?

  • as silly as your anti square plate stance..

  • Does Pimms constitute a cocktail these days?

  • A glass of tap water with ice and a slice constitutes a cocktail when Tonys on shift.

Square plates can get in the fucking sea.

  • Pfft - you know tony is a wonder with the super sized tequilas and free pour spirits...

  • Only if you're a regular...

    I resemble that Norm remark...

  • I miss Tony...

And his Albanian cousin, er, Tony...

  • got takeaways from yer SAZ in herne hill yesterday and now i feel like a right tit. always avoided it on account of it being near to empty on most days so presumed the food was gash.

it's fantastic. and the manager chucked in a couple of beers on the house as we saved him the trouble of having to do a delivery.

9/10 would go again, loses a point for not providing serviettes.

  • Interesting. I have always assumed it was a money laundering front.

  • Jay Rayner gave it the thumbs up not long after it opened, surprised it isn't heaving with locals... We always meant to go in but never did... #csb

  • i had the double-decker lambchops. couldn't finish them all, there's still two in the fridge. proper homemade hummus that came with half a turkish, salted foccaccia thing (pita bread can get in the fucking sea), amongst other delights. so much food, and all for little over 20 squidz. get involved before it gets turned into another fucking coffee shop / artisan beer twatmagnet.

  • And they deliver? I'm in.

  • Is this a confession?

  • Could they not zoom and enhance?

  • Ace. Love turkish food and have been really missing it since moving from Stoke Newington. Agree that it gives the impression of being shite. Definitely going to investigate
