Anyone got the Giro Territory? Or anyone know anywhere in the UK/EU to get the Giro Republic shoes in all black?

They only stock the Gray & Black/Gum ones. These ones i'm after, but they're probably some super limited us-only version.

Anyone used the Giro Chamber? The reviews online are all positive but then again they are from downhill focused writers. The cleat positioning seems a little odd, that's what bothers me.

just got a pair new for £60 on ebay. Great shoes, super stiff. Cleat placement is fine.

They look like the special 'comfy' built up shoes that old people buy from adverts in the Mail on Sunday colour supplement.

How recessed are the cleats on the chambers Max?

decent amount. no clip clopping when you're walking.

Dunno if this is worth pointing out but Condor has a bit of a sale on shoes in store at present - Vittoria 1976 were down to 90 odd quid for example.

Just ordered a pair from the US (after tying some on in Swift). FYI The Black/Gray colour is only available in whole sizes (tho the rest in half). Subject to import duties, they could work out cheaper.

Giro Terraduro looks nice, but not really a road shoe.

I've just tried on the two new Giros (Terraduro and Republic) at Condor.
The Terraduro is by far the most comfortable shoe, walking wise, that I've ever worn and the Republic isn't far behind. I've worn or owned a pair of DZRs (Dice), Chrome Kursk Pro, Quoc Pham Tourers, Dominators and various Specialized BG MTBs.
I bought the Terraduros on the spot and am gonna save up for the Republics!

Worldwide shortage of Chrome SPDs?
Most of the low to medium sizes seem to be sold out both on the chrome website as well as Kinoko and Alwaysriding.
Anywhere else I should look?
And why? Are there new models being dropped soon? -

Having some problem with cleat clearance on my Chrome Kursks. Chrome sent me a new pair and the SPD cleats poke out eeeeeever so slightly.
Possibly solution lower lying cleats? Anyone got a comparison of Time Atac cleats VS SPD?

Htfu?

Possibly. Just noticing I'm noticeably clopping. The librarians keep glancing at me reeeeeally suspiciously.

Give it a few months, wait till new cleats are needed, then come back and ask the same question again.
The video is lulz, the bits where he's trying to clip into other pedals all need a "Thanks Obama".
