• Chrome have bought out a 'Version 2' of the shoes which is why they are more expensive. As to what has changed............

  • rather be seen in roadie shoes than golf shoes!

i'll happily hang around in my roadie shoes, i feel proud in a weird way, just so impractical

Yorgo patented the Suit & Sidi look in 2007 and owned it. I often rock that look at business events I photograph, and it's amazing how many suits come up to me and start talking bikes. It's awesome.

  • Ugly. Look like golf shoes. And nobody wants that.

Actually cycling is the 'new golf' - apparently.

  • I'm trialling the new Milltag shoes at the moment. They absoutely rule. I haven't even looked at my Sidi's in about 2 months...

    Is it?

    Fuck.

    How come?

Did people once use golf to get to work?

    Pics?

    Planned size and price range?

  • Pics?

I got to trail a pair a while ago but unfortunately couldn't squeeze my feet into the tiny size 9s

  • They look ace.
Fingers crossed they do a lighter coloured pair too.

  • They do look pretty sweet, is that suede though?

  • the cleat must stick out loads tho?

  • Hmmm... WANT*

*though haven't seen them IRL yet.

  • ^^I'm guessing you chop that bit out and mount the cleat in a recess.

They were at Spin you daft thing! I saw them and they looked ace, they only had size 9 test pairs though. Grrrrr.

  • Yeah, dummkopf! And I'm a size 9 too.

  • the cleat must stick out loads tho?

I think the dark bits you can see are the bolts holding in the cover, so it's a separate piece rather than an "oh my god I'm going to ruin my expensive shoes" cut out.

I like that they're more like skate shoes than your typical Chrome/DZR Conversealike.

The textile around the rear looks awesome but +1 Snotty I'd rather not have suede shoes and suede wouldn't put up with our Northern weather for very long.

Dibs first pair of size 13s. Need more testers?

  • Yeah, dummkopf! And I'm a size 9 too.

Email and ask! Ed's a nice guy...

  • I tried to get these as prizes for track day /csb

  • Planned size and price range?

All sizes, and definitely under a hundo.

They do look pretty sweet, is that suede though?

Yup! It's held up really well for me, but I put suede cleaner on my shoes because I'm a nonce.

the cleat must stick out loads tho?

When you take the cleat-bit out, they actually don't stick out at all. Like, it's difficult to touch cleat to floor when you're walking.

They're amazing, I can't big them up enough. Can't wait for them to come to market.

    Do some work you

  • Milltags look nice but do they do something with a bit more ankle support? Its usually nice (especially for things like bike polo) to have a support strap like the Nike Poobahs/DZR Mambas/ those Shimano ones Msomethingorother

  • No, no ankle support on these ones. I thought you polo lot had found something suitably orthopedic for you needs?

Jess has some DZR something or others.

  • All sizes, and definitely under a hundo.

I'm skeptical about this, but look forwards to seeing some size 13 prototypes or stock!

  • Suede :-( poor cows, I'm out because I'm a god damn hippy. The ugly ones I linked to are vegan, if that's your thing.
