  • Wore my SS hoodie in the rain today for 40 minutes and when I got in I was still dry! Very warm as well....I'd say it's worth the investment!!

The service of Mozz Cycling is also top notch IMO.

  • i've recently ordered a few more swrve items from their own US website this time and again, i'm superduperfantabulously happy with the clothing and the service.

they're really nice people to deal with and kept me informed to tell me when the out of stock items were expected and when they were shipped. i didn't get stung by the nasty man at customs so even with the cost of shipping i came out ahead....just!

it's big thumbs up for the jeans, merino base layers and sprint cut shorts from me!

Be careful though. Rapid changes in exchange rates could push to cost of stuff ordered in dollars very high atvery suddenly.

  • Reporting in to say that after reading this thread I picked up a Milwaukee from the US store and I was also very impressed by the service and quality of the jacket. Emailed the customer support about shipping and got a friendly email back very quickly explaining things. The jacket is lovely and dry in the rain and perfectly warm in the cold.

  • I washed mine for the first time this weekend, and it washes lovely and dried within a couple of hours, I'm actually starting to think about buying a second one I love it so much.

I know what you mean, it's quality stuff. Have you got the Milwaukee hoodie? That's what I've got and yeah, totally love it.

  • yeh i have a softshell milwaukee, one of the best pieces of cycling clothes i've ever bought i think. I wear it pretty much every day - I'll almost be sad when its too warm to wear again!

  • I got a swrve milwaukee hoodie, softshell goretex last year sometime and its sweet. Bought it when the dollar was low from the US website (it was a lot cheaper than the UK one, evn with the sale they had). Sent super speedily , quality is great, so were the free stickers. I just wish I could afford to get more stuff. The hoodie i use all year round, it is quite warm though. its not packable though and is quite heavy but is super waterproof (thankyou goretex!). I even wore it on my motorbike test under my jacket cos it was so waterproof and it was pissing it down like a mofo.
Its the best piece of kit i ever bought.

  • +1, cant say any better of swrve, ordered some of the short shorts on friday and they turned up on saturday just in time for the sun!

  • Love Swrve stuff. Similar quality to Rapha (I actually prefer Swrve's merino baselayers) but cheaper. Stuff from Swrve usually arrives the next day if being delivered to central London. No complaints from me!

  • there are some shit-hot swrve caps on eBay right now.

  • A friendly happy bump for Chris @ Mozz cycling who sorted me out with some lovely SS shorts and a new pair of Sprinter cut shorts, for bargainous prices - he's up there with Will @ Hubjub for me -
    Awesome.

Dang. Just placed an order today too. Sprinter shorts and a softshell hoodie, although at normal price. Chris, if your reading, give me some love! Or at least some stickers.

Went bonkers for Rapha a few months ago and got decked out. Most of it will be evilbayed this weekend. It's beautiful stuff but I'm more of a ride bike to pub and the odd weekend 30 mile pootle sort of fella.

What does one need to do in order to get such bargainous prices?!

I've been looking forward to this month so I can start wearing my softshell Milwaukee jacket.

  • I have two pairs of swrve jeans...wicked!

be a regular customer and generally lovely.

me too, I have been gazing longingly at mine in the cupboard...soon my lovely, soon!

  • Think I'm going to stick a milwaukee my xmas list. It might take that long to decide which one to get though, wow there are a lot of options.

  • I'm a big +1 on the Milwaukee

Amazing jacket, amazing price. Kept me warm all of last winter.

  • I love my Swrve short (the new ones, not the 3/4 length ones) and this Milwaukee jacket intrigues me. Perhaps I shall have to purchase one.

I recommended the softshell over the gortex, slighty more breathable, lighter and flexible, our winter aren't as serve as the Milkwaukee one.

  • got the swrve wwr shorts (3/4), and i love them.
glad i bought them in a shop though, because as said, the sizing is a bit off

Thanks for the recommendation, I will definitely be getting the softshell with birthday funds in November. The UK site isn't too bad for choice (just goretex or softshell) but the US site has about 5 different options. I was a touch overwhelmed when i first looked.

  • Chris can usually get what you want from the US guys, if there is something on the US site that isn't available on the UK one, this includes sizes as well.
I've got one of each (greedy bitch) the softshell is great and suits most of the winter, but I do like the gore for uber waterproofness/warmth it is a bit thicker - but then I'm getting old and feel the cold these days..

    ..oooh me back!
