  • Yes. Wanna see my track scars?

    Like these?

  • i am so looking forward to the next one.
the more i think about last sunday the more convinced i am that i was totally undergeared. [/lame excuse]

  • what were you using?

  • Oh no! everyone is voting for the day that I can't go.
    : (

  • 50/17 it comes out 77,3 GI. see you on 50/15 next time... will definetly test run that setting on one of the saturday training sessions before

  • I was running 50/16 on Sunday and felt a shade undergeared at times. I replaced the 16 tooth rear with a 15 last night.

Claus, I would say you were definitely on too low a gear! I was running 49/15 on Saturday which with my setup was just under 86. 50/15 would give you a nice 87.5.
I feel that if it was not windy and was very calm I could benefit from an even higher gear. Though changing from 15 to 14 would give me 92 which may be too high.

I intend to start going on Wednesday nights from now on and see how I get on.

  • thanks guys for backing up my conspiracy theory of the undergeared... i feel so much better now. will see how the remedy works in pratice at some point in september
