I'd be keen to know how it holds up, because I love those frames. I've heard the same thing about non-road warranty BS, but tbh I'm sceptical that most realistic use will fall under warranty... After all how the hell you supposed to get it to the 'drome?
I assume the forks are swapped out? It's not an integrated headset or anything?

Well the HED track spacer kit has just arrived, proper loverly bit of CNC machined kit, time to fix her up. Gone for a black chain.
I dont expect everyone to like it (and i dont really care either, most peeps round my neck of the wood wouldnt have a clue what is is anyway) , my taste in bikes leans towards techno rides dripping with modern tech, whilst i can appreciate a nice old frame, they just dont have me reaching for my wallet. . . though i love a well done classic such as Bobobs recently departed ride, may she rust in peace. Also every bike i have had for the last 5 years has been one colour, matt black, and every component done to match, this is a little experiment back in to colour for me, mainly because the stock Condor graphics are awesome.
I know a lot of forumgers get a bit high and mighty about putting top end track frames on the road, but if i had the dollar i would be riding a Bridgestone/anchor round town no probs.
Oh and Smithy i got a call from Bradley Wiggins this morning, and he said tell the Hoy boys to shut it cos he would love to take it of my hands as he needs a new pub bike

This whole HHSB, fashion bike blah blah has been done to death on numerous occasions and will still go on as long as people still customise their bikes.
The fact is, who really gives a shit. If someone wants to spend all their money and time on buying the latest bits to make a bike look ace(in their minds atleast), whether it be practical or not then who are we to argue and whinge about it.
If one(me included) puts their bike up, expect it to get praise and criticism BUT, are we really gonna lose any sleep over it, I certainly don't

yeah exactly, who gives a shit. oh and lets not forget it's also a really good track bike, spesh with the new drive and drops. so you'll have to give that a proper whirl if you haven't already.
also, i have to say that those graphics work REALLY well in my opinion. i was sceptical at first and most graphics on bikes across the board are utter shite, but these are very cool. they remind me of a variation on Helvetica i once saw called 'lasso', which essentially was an abstraction of the outline of the characters.
