  • Wasnt expecting the sidewall to be sprayed, but thats how it came from the factory .

Cos it's supposed to be used brakeless, if you bought machine sidewalls for brakes then it would still have the silver machined trim - like the rear. Get a can on the rear to match it up with the front

  • Stealthy bastard. Looks great mate!

  • 8 over 10

    hard man!

  • Sort the pedals out
The paint on the sidewall will also come off with brake wear
Paint/spray the rear wheel sidewall black
Needs a black lever AND black chain

Other than that, good effort, nice looking bit of kit. 8 over 10

Also some proper cranks. Black Sugino 75 would be nice. That bike is almost screaming for a Nobrake.

    8/10 Slavery
    4/10 Function
    2/10 componentry
    10/10 colors

  • do condor have 'em in stock or didja have to order?

  • I got my black Suginos in Condor, bound to have the cranks at least...

  • he's taken more bits to armourtex today ;)

  • Love the WAC sticker on the disc valve hole, I tried to do the same at the Smithfield Nocture on my Hed3 but Wayne wouldn't let me :(
I still can't believe that Brian let me put that sticker on the wheel.

  • i don't get it. there's lots i don't get about it, in fact.

it's a confused and scared bicycle.

what exactly is it for? really?

  • Hehe knew you'd love it PJ.

  • No lockring for the disc? Don't be skidding...

  • if you succomb to peer pressure and want to sell those pedals i'll take em off you !!

  • you in a crosswind:

Pretty much what was happening to me down Brixton Road over the winter... Definitely sharpens the mind and strengthens the wrists... ;)

  • v12's are ace! got a pair of the mags on my mtb

  • ;203396']Also some proper cranks. Black Sugino 75 would be nice. That bike is almost screaming for a Nobrake.

    I full cycling weekly review!

You can still run straps with them those pedals. Most BMX / platform mtb pedals follow the good old DX design now so they are easy to get hold off in lots of different colours.

  • do those buzzkill things really work? my hands have been suffering a bit riding with flats rather than drops.

  • sorry - have you put a top tube pad on this bicycle?

    is this a joke?

(i'd like to add that i do like the frame and most of the parts, just not in this order)

  • in agreement re. black chain, btw

  • Love that frame... nice work.

  • he didn't build the frame.

I specifically built up the bike the way it is to annoy you PJ - and just to really piss you i am having a custom Kantana lo pro built up later in the year, which i will never ride, but put it and the Condor on the roof of my range rover sport (custom number plate F1 XIE) which i do a daily circuit from BLB to Spitafields in twice a day.

I have some carbon cranks coming for it, the track spacing kit from HED now comes with a lockring . .

The bike serves no purpose other than to put a smile on my face, its dressed up for a night on the town in the pics, but i have a set of black open pros laced to formula hubs for the humdrum of day to day riding

I have used them on my ss mtb (full rigid) for a while and they do take the edge off
