CU of top half of tyre (down the tread), focus on close clearance fork/tyre gap at end of strip ...
If I had a camera, or could use one, or had any close clearence forks, with no brake, I would take this photo.

You all need to get married to Gabes - that would sort things.
Thanks for humouring me object - since no other weirdo seems to care YOU WIN! + here's my take:Let us assume this is the upper chain-run, with the cog to the left of the picture.
As the links approach the rear cog to wrap around it, the cleaner-looking rollers have been slightly rotated relative to the axis of the chainlinks, because of a) friction between the inner link-plate and them and b) rotation of this preceeding link section.
The same doesn't happen to the 'dirty' rollers because the preceeding section is an 'outer-plate', which does not rotate the rollers (which are sandwiched inside the inner plates.)0 - the links are rotated a very small amount, and it is the cumulative effect which makes them cleaner.
1 - I am not sure if a similar thing could occur as the links 'unwrap' from the cog?
2 - The effect due to the chainring is less due to the smaller angle of incidence.
3 - For the above to be viable, the cog must have an even number of teeth.

Sounds like a sensible option.Maybe it's a combination of the two?
If you have a spare 14T cog i'll happily absolve you of its ownership.

And by the grace of me it shall be done.
I can only dream that in the long Winter ahead we can look at the alternating dirty/clean rollers on your bike and reflect on the pointlessness of this derailing.

Hey VB, not sure if this intentional, but the header wraps on my monitor when firefox is maximised. Might be because my monitor is too wide :-/

Yeah, your monitor is massive... what would you prefer? Wrapped image, or just a grey background when the image ends?
-
• #195
I have 2 of em next to each other :)
Whatever works for you is best, I don't mind it as it is - was just drawing it to your attention. If I had to choose, I would say wrap it the image but not the text.
EDIT - 99% of time my windows aren't maximised anyways

the text is in the image.
-
• #197
Maybe that's the key... make the text it's own layer but keep the white fade line in the image.
-
• #198
So, is there a way to disable the header image(s) but keep the avatars?
