Feels good though
I never really got off on that kind of thing. Destroying knee sliders round Hyde Park Corner, on the other hand...

At one point he was less than a metre from on coming taffic, at the speed he was going a collision wouldn't have been pretty would it?
You think there's little to no risk, apparantly you're bike rider. I'll take you word for it. It just looks ridiculous.
I don't care if you think I'm high and mighty; I also happen to think sleeping at the wheel isn't cool, but you don't see many youtube videos of that.
Have a think about how much time you spend in a car less than a metre from oncoming traffic. Hmmm, interesting itsn't it. And you do that at night, at speed, on winding back roads and lanes. In something that would make a lot more mess than a bike. Hmm...
I didn't say there was no risk. I specifically said that it all looks dramatic to non motorcyclists, but in reality, it's nowhere near as bad as it seems.
You appear to be surprised that there are few videos of people sleeping at the wheel; I'm not-worse than golf for entertainment.
Try Googling "motorcycle fatality video". Whatch a few, then tell me how bad this rider is.

True enough. Was a general throw away rather than specific to that video.
Always a good thing to remember when you're wearing jeans and not leathers and sliders. I've made that mistake before...twice.

No I think I'll leave that. That other shit is worse doesn't detract from the recklessness of speeding.
I really don;t see what you're arguing in favour of. That isn't a question btw.
Let's leave it at you think it wasn;t especially risky, and I think it was incredibly risky yea?

Once for each knee?
I recall an article in MCN years back, where they got a pig, covered it in denim, and dragged it down a runway at 60 mph to see what happened.
Flesh and bone disappeared at near enough 1" per second, that's what. And runways are pretty smooth.
Now THAT'S what should be in CBT test packs.

Ghostrider is more entertaining. But that guy HAZ DA SKILLZ

Oh I see. Speeding is speeding = reckless danger, and that's that. Well, certainly saves thinking about it.

Same knee, same jeans, same roundabout - different bike

Saves killing people needlessly too.

Did it once in unpadded leathers without sliders, went through to the skin pretty fast. You definitely want a thick block of plastic if you're putting any pressure on.

Naah - you want some of those metal sparky ones so as you can set light to some spare leakage while you are at it.

• #7540
By speeding do you mean going too fast or going more than what the government want you to drive at? Bit of a difference there
-
• #7541
Surely you have a race track to able to go as fast as you like on a motorbikes?

YouTube - Black Devil - Moscow Ride on R1
The motorcyclist is sure as hell headed for an early grave, don't you think ?
Hence the epic fail.
This video makes me cringe it's so so crazy i cannot believe the way he is driving, a few screws loose in his head. Was I the only one who was dissapointed that he never got doored?

Off the scale of fail...
He builds his bike up every morning on a special table.
It's a conversion.
He does a few skids then gets a flat.
He tries to show how cool he is by sorting out a flat tyre???
And is that all he has in his silly flappy bag, an inner tube?
Painful to watch.
-
• #7545
Anyone else waiting for the bag to slip off his shoulder and into the spokes?
I had my fingers crossed and everything.
-
• #7546
For the entire length of the film I was hoping he would stack in on way or another...
-
• #7547
Did you watch part 1? He's living the dream. Up early driving his 240 red volvo for a spot of longboarding.. WAC

• #7548
Was parked in Brick lane for a curry I believe.. At least they could push it home??
-
• #7549
It would be great if they set off without noticing.
How far would they get? -

Should have stuck with the M5.
