I think its a cool vid personally. done something similar - though through less congested london streets at night on the back of a friends R1 a couple years back. without helmet which was stupid! no excusing that. But one of the biggest rushes I ever had.
The dude in the vid was obviously very experienced and a good rider. its not really that diff to the couriers and some other cyclists you see weaving in and out of traffic in London, they know what they re doing im sure - mostly. Diff is london roads are narrow and short in the main. in places like the sttes, germny and where they have large wider roads/highways you can do this. Motorways are the closest thing we have.
I dont believe people do these things without knowing how to handle their chosen method of transit. But I expect the "cautious" brigade will frown upon such acts as being reckless and life endangering etc yada yada...

I don't know where to start.
Riding over 100mph through motorway traffic is not really that different to weaving through traffic on a push bike? Right. Not that either aren't idiotic.

He's on a public road with hundreds of other not so experienced drivers. Using quote marks and the word brigade does nothing to change this fact

Watching the video was ok but was distracted by the banners of mutilated bodies and big cocks.

fucking awesome vid. what a rush!

Just watched the bike vid. Nothing much to see there. The roads are quiet and fairly slow, the surface is a lot better than you get here. Very capable machine and competent rider. All looks shocking to the average cyclist, but in reality, unless someone does something really really odd and stupid (and people on M ways generally don't - that's whey there are the safest roads to be on), there's not a lot going on.

he knows how to ride his machine though, it's still impressive to watch.

Fair enough neu, your entitled to your view and it is shared by many im sure. If you watch the vid. imo the dude was in complete control. part of experience is learning to avoid inexprience and this dude had no close calls or squeaks, he was in complete control, he slowed, accelerated etc all smoothly and expertly.
i like a bit of adrenalin in my blood, maybe you do too, but i like overdose levels, and that guy obviously does too - but has the skill to match!!

Er, it's not a motorway.
I've ridden like a twat with the best of them in my time, but there were plenty of wince inducing moments there. Nobody has to do anything odd or stupid when your speed differential between lines of traffic is that high and the clearance is that small - a 3 inch drift off line by a dozy car driver and you're off.

Granted, but look at the way he navigates the close sections! where its too tight he goes in the other lane! where there is a turn he goes nearside and avoids the turning traffic.
imo the guy is an expert rider and teh vid proves it. I have seen other vids attempted by lesser riders which were nowhere near as smooth or controlled. a near miss could happen at any speed, with similar consequeces should you get knocked off and run over.

3 inch drift - utter rot. Spend some time riding round the M25 in rush hour and it knocks that into a cocked hat. And there aren't bodies left right and centre. He's clearly a very capable rider on a high performance machine. His anticipation is exceedingly good, as is his breaking and weighting. Yes it's risky, but it's not Russian roulette. I've been nudged by idiots in cars on roads - you don't turn into a red smear as soon as they look at you.

It's not cool to risk the lives of random people. How would you respond if he did take someone out? So it goes?
Maybe I'm misreading the risk, I'm no bike expert. Maybe it's a stroll in the park, but I find that very hard to believe.

Oh for heavens sakes, get a grip; "lives of random people" FFS.
If you want to get all high and mighty about that, I suggest you look at cars, HGV's and sleeping at the wheel. Do you know how many other road users are killed by motorcycles? Fick all, that's how many.

I only watched half of it, it was a bit dull, just filtering and a bit of weaving. Did anything else happen?

Nope.

At one point he was less than a metre from on coming taffic, at the speed he was going a collision wouldn't have been pretty would it?
You think there's little to no risk, apparantly you're bike rider. I'll take you word for it. It just looks ridiculous.

I don't care if you think I'm high and mighty; I also happen to think sleeping at the wheel isn't cool, but you don't see many youtube videos of that.
