I've only watched the DVD of his stand up tour and his appearances on Mock The Week. Sometimes he makes me laugh, sometimes he raises a smirk, sometimes he very much falls flat. I haven't watched the Good News show and probably wouldn't, I don't think it's material that suits him to my tastes. I think he's come up with some really good material on Mock The Week, certainly it's made me laugh. However, as demonstrated in the Stand Up Comedy thread, I don't take comedy that seriously.
