In London, as in other places, cyclists can be a bit of a hazard, since though they pay no road tax, they still have the same rights as any other vehicle. No law requires them to wear reflective clothing, have lights, or give any sort of signal. Furthermore, cyclists tend to ignore traffic lights and one-way streets, so please be careful you don't hit them, cyclists become most indignant if you hit them, and legally, it is always the motorists fault.

Other than the misinformed part about Road Tax I have to ask what is so outrageous about this? It's clearly lighthearted and, frankly, if it makes tourists drive carefully around me then I'm fine with that.

People here seem to worry an awful lot about the reputation of cyclists as a group of people, yet in getting uppity about nonsense like this all that will be achieved is the further compounding of the idea that cyclists are holier-than-thou reactionary dicks.
