The tweets were so hysterical I stand by that.
Misplaced outrage over something so minor trivialises genuine racism.
I know, right - Casual racism is just for the lulz. -

!
It's amazing how people love the opportunity to be righteous, no matter how trivial the circumstances.
A picture of a stupid rich woman, a ninternet forum.
The internet is a bit like a car: it makes people agressive than they would normally be.
Righteous? People have right to feel upset. It's funny how for example slavery it's not a big deal for English, or Holocaust for Goyim etc.
Shut up and respect the fact that some find it offensive.
It was obviously meant to be offensive, so rightfully people find it offensive.Calling those who think that the whole thing is tasteless, racist or sexist a "PC brigade" is bit rich.
And if you think it was trivial, keep it to yourself. No need to mock the only people with some decency left.

And one more thing - a genuine advice.
As you might be a very young person, probably some posh boy from the Home Counties... It's not you who decides what constitutes "genuine" racism.
Let minorities define themselves what they find offensive, listen to them and then avoid doing or saying things they find offensive. Do not hesitate to tell them that you find them calling you "white bwoi pussy yo" uncomfortable as well. -

As a man of colour, what I find most offensive is the Tsunami of white people rushing to call this 'racist'.

There was obviously a message
obviously meant to be offensive.
In Jones's view "the sculpture is not about being naturalistic. They are not so much about representing woman but the experience of woman, not an illusion"
"the 32-year-old apologised, saying: "I utterly abhor racism" - Zhukova
We don't know what the artist of the copy (Melgaard) intended or thought but I doubt it was "I hate black people so let's make a chair of one so I can sit on her".
The message is far from obvious.
Now let's get back so some Epic Fail.... -

Let minorities define themselves what they find offensive,Gladly. All the tweets, as far as I could see, were from white middle class people, like me.
The comment by a black person about the white people 'coming to the rescue' kind of sums it up.
There's an interesting* debate to be had here, that doesn't require you to tell me to 'fuck off', or to 'shut up', or to make patronising assumptions about my age. You might have a point, but this all kind of undermines it.
- interesting for some. as s785 said, let's get back to the fail

He makes his money by having people give him their money to invest. By sounding like a hard-nosed capitalist without an ounce of sympathy he looks like perhaps the right kind of guy others may want to give money to so he can be the vile bastard who will do what it takes to make more money.
So the third one.

Massive PC outburst over expensive chair artwork.
Because the mannequin is dark skinned, it's racist.
OK, change the skin to white. Now it's misogynist.
OK, change the gender to male. Now PETA will be whining about the leather.
OK, change the leather to PVC. Now Greenpeace will complain about the oil used to make it.
OK, change it to hemp fibre. Now the 99%ers will hate on her because her husband is rich.
Basically, every single image ever posted on the internet can have some offensive feature found in it by people who are looking to be offended, usually on behalf of somebody else they never bother to consult about the matter.
Meanwhile, pro-democracy protesters are being shot dead in Кіїв, mainly to please Vladimir Putin. I only have so much outrage to spare against Russians, I think I'll give Ms.Zhukova a pass this time.
Personally, I find the crass 'ironic' misogyny of those chairs more distasteful than whatever colour the fake girl's skin is. I wonder if they'd published the picture on international women's day whether the intarwebz would have seized on that rather than the race angle. In any event, it's vulgar tat that's deliberately provocative so as to make up for its lack of artistry. Just right for a tasteless braindead Russian billionaire's wife.
(Oh, and clearly I'm Russian billionaire's wife-ist. So sue me)
