^Why is that a fail? It is an anachronistic, patriarchal branch of an increasingly irrelevant religion afterall. Whatever they decide to do is going to be ignored by a largely secular England anyway.

I'm not sure I see this news it as an epic fail but it is a fail for women's rights, whether we are part of the church or not.
CofE hasn't been overtaken by Islam yet, has it? Atheism maybe.

There's was much childish tittering on Twitter last night as Susan Boyle's PR team announced the official hashtag for her new album was #susanalbumparty. Will it trend in the UK? With the Twitterati's fondness for puerile humour, it's almost a dead cert.
