Why do YT vids not embed recently?

get the code (eg "xlIrI80og8c" for above vid) add it onto the end of "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v="

if the link wont embed i've found the quickest solution is to add an '&" to shorten the link down to the '&'

thats what he did above and it didn't work

It worked for me, I suspect he tried the raw link, which doesn't work, then edited it correctly, however the forum seems to retain the previous link when you edit it.
