Topped the shoe lace fail by wearing 4.5 inch platforms last night to 'Black Tie' ride. Forgot the added length to my leg and didn't take tools out with me (obvs). Ended up cycling with my knees pretty much in my face on a mainly uphill journey. Thigh burn! On the plus side, didn't need to put my foot down on the kerb.
