Balsa Wood mallets are go!

I just think a swinging mallet in wood has more inertia than a alu/plastic one. In NYC they even drill holes in the mallet heads to make them lighter...

I made 3 wooden mallets on rainy Monday. Constructed from hardwood dowelling + heads are pine / drillium. avant-garde designs + rustic waxed finish.
If anyone wants to play polo in West London (tuesday?) then they are welcome to try them out!
EDIT - I spent too long trying to get some old ski=poles / graphite golf clubs.. ergo..

That's pretty much the standard for everywhere except London. We're always a bit behind the states anyways...

ha...what i know can't be taught.i spent many nights watching American polo on youtube,its the only way.

me and dt were discussing that yesterday.it depends on the direction of the attack.i wouldn't say an advantage,it has its pros and cons
