Just rolled down to the Walford Road court.
Unlocked and deserted so we are free to play there. Lights are fairly good (90% coverage) and the surface is decent, couple of gaps for the gates but they are only small.
Size wise it's similar to Newt but has fixed goals which will shorten the court a little. Just need some cones and we've got a temp NE home til Mitch is fixed.I think we should give it a try, see how the locals take to us.
Up for trying tomorrow, anyone else?
There is a court i saw with lights on at the junction of Mildmay Road and King Henry's walk in dalston. Think there are pictures attached but not sure how to do it. Could work?
Yah, thats boleyn rd. Used to play there, its terrible, rubber surface, smaller than downham and theres loads of kids.

I miss you guys!!!!
Piotr was back for a few days, when are you popping back with your Zebra bike again? :)

Zebra bike went to hell, where it belonged! And next time, I'm not making the mistake of buying a crappy bike in LND to avoid traveling with bike. I'll bring my polo ride!
When?
For the open a hundred per cent, not sure if I manage before. Two weeks ago I discovered polo i Berlin (thumbs up, Rik!) and It looks like, taking the distance (being short as it is), it's probably gonna be my next polo destination again :)

Hahahaha... Piotr's bike survived though and he was playing on it the week before BFF IIRC, he was at Mitch for a game and had to work over the weekend hence he could not play. The best bit was everyone called him Stan instead of Piotr (not joking!).
One of your mallets, dont know whose, is being well used at beginners!

NE one playing tomorrow?
-
• #17911
Yeah, I've heard that one, hilarious!
As to one of the mallets, Lish is using mine at beginners and intermediate polo. She came to Krakow and Warsaw couple a weeks ago and we play here a little too.
Anyways, completely quit using "euro cheater" mallet heads, although it's on the rise in Poland now, so having a little hard time playing the only non-cheater mallet :)
Cheers!

gmaps link?
There are pretty much always kids on that court. I'm sure someone told me that the locals also aren't very welcoming when I suggested it before because it does look ok.
