We are hoping to get the lights for Downs tomorrow from 7:30-9:30 or something like that, and Thurs too, both for a single league game each night. So that should leave plenty of time for pickup for refs and spectators.

done, if I don't hear back in the few days I'll give them a call

Are you an Islington resident John?
I found residency of the borough useful in the beginning as leverage with Southwark with the Newington lights.
I pay my council taxes to you guys, can you fix this now please? etc. -

Might be worth us checking out the court on the corner of Walford and Gunsfor Road that Mayeut mentioned.
If the lights are on and it's empty then we could be onto a winner.
I'll try and swing by later if I get time.

Just rolled down to the Walford Road court.
Unlocked and deserted so we are free to play there. Lights are fairly good (90% coverage) and the surface is decent, couple of gaps for the gates but they are only small.
Size wise it's similar to Newt but has fixed goals which will shorten the court a little. Just need some cones and we've got a temp NE home til Mitch is fixed.I think we should give it a try, see how the locals take to us.

There is a court i saw with lights on at the junction of Mildmay Road and King Henry's walk in dalston. Think there are pictures attached but not sure how to do it. Could work?
